Setting up a WordPress website with AI

1. Buy a domain on Gandi or Cloudflare. The former provides an invoice for Taiwanese domains, while the latter is for international domains.
2. Buy a YANGSHEEP CLOUD hosting plan, which provides genuine multi-core virtual hosting so you don't have to fear traffic spikes. It features built-in SSH and one-click WordPress installation, while the combination of SSH and WP-CLI makes AI connection hassle-free.
3. Install the Blocksy theme
4. Install the Greenshift editor
5. Set up an SSH account password or key for Claude Code to connect.
6. Ask Claude or Codex to open the browser, set up the Blocksy theme, read the built-in Skills of the Greenshift plugin, and start building the webpage.
7. Install the Rank Math SEO plugin, the best free choice, and AI can also help you set it up.
8. PixelYourSite, either the free or pro version, is best for installing pixels/GA, and the built-in Header / Footer also allows for quick installation of various codes.
9. Wordfence Firewall and Malware Scan. Many people will tell you it's very slow, but mostly that's because the hosting is terrible. However, this plugin has saved many of my clients' websites, and it's free.

Why use this theme and editor? Blocksy is already a highly rated theme in recent years. Including myself, my friends, and my clients, I know of thousands of websites built with it. Greenshift is currently the block editor best suited for AI editing, and once the website is finished, it can still be manually adjusted and maintained by human hands.
